Little Jupiter is an independent artist's studio, run by Cricket McCann. Cricket is based in Dundee, Scotland, where they run creative workshops, make zines and create weird and wonderful ceramic art at Dundee Ceramics Workshop!Cricket is a queer, disabled creative, and advocates for art for all. They are proud to work with multiple organisations across Dundee on various creative endeavors. Their latest project includes The Wee Garden Library with Dundee Changemakers and Uppertunity.
About
Cricket McCann is an artist, writer and creative producer. They gained their Masters in Arts, Festival and Cultural Management from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and have a BA in English Literature with Creative Writing. They have previously worked as a teacher of English, a manager of Leith Theatre, and they were Founding Director and Business Manager for zine publishing company, Coin-Operated Press CIC.Cricket has experience in volunteer coordinating, social media management, fundraising, and project management, as well as event bookings, artist/venue liaison, financial planning, and marketing and promotions. They have been extensively involved in all key areas of the creative industries for two decades.

Cricket will work with organisations across Dundee to help build safe, engaging and artistic spaces for local creatives to gather and share ideas. They will use their background in music, theatre, zine publishing and business management to aid others working in the sector. They will curate creative events to showcase local talent with a focus on lifting up the LGBTQ+ community.Values:
Little Jupiter is a queer-led organisation that does not discriminate against anyone for any reason, including sex, gender, ethnicity, income, religion, age or ability. Cricket strives to offer a safe, creative space for all, as sustainable and environmentally-friendly as possible.Plan:
Little Jupiter creates art, hosts creative workshops, and offers services to grassroots organisations in the form of social media management, strategic/business planning, fundraising, production management, artist/venue liaison, workshop facilitation, and more.Cricket is especially interested in working with the LGBTQ+ community, those with chronic illnesses and disabilities, DIY arts practitioners, and low-income individuals.Little Jupiter is owned and operated by Cricket McCann.
